Background
Brent MacRae is a Networking Associate Teaching Professor in the Bachelor of Information Technology (IT) program at Ontario Tech University. He is also responsible for managing the university's Networking Lab. He has a comprehensive background in both networking and IT security. He acquired a Master of Science in Computer Science from Ontario Tech University in 2016, and a Bachelor of IT in 2013. He obtained his Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) certification and is currently working toward several other networking and security-focused certifications. He has multiple publications in the area of user authentication and human-factors, and is active in the research community.
