Background

Tosan Atele-Williams is a computational trust scientist and an academic associate in the faculty of business and IT at Ontario Tech University. He holds a master’s degree in information technology security (MITS) from Ontario Tech University. 

Tosan completed his Ph.D. in 2021 at Ontario Tech University, with his thesis focusing on using trust mechanisms for information verification in online media. He has a couple of publications; submissions and he is currently working on a couple more. Tosan is the co-founder of the Trust Consortium, an organization whose focus is on providing trust-based datasets and analytics for research. His research areas include:
